Yakfinities - Customizing Challenge Update

One of the first things we have done in our new forum community is create a Customizing Challenge unique to our forum members here at Yakface. Each month the customizers in our Customizing Forum will decide on a fan fiction idea for a custom project - the first month has been predetermined to be Hybrid Stormtroopers, and we have already had several entries, which you can see by Clicking Here.
The August Challenge has gotten off to a very fast start as we started one week early, but there is plenty of time to join in the fun. And remember, a random entry will win a free MOMC VOTC Stormtrooper figure, shipped free of charge.
Whether you are new to customizing or an old pro, all Yakkers are invited to participate in the Yakface Forums.

H & V Grievous Variant Found

Lars S. alerts us to a variant in the "Heroes & Villians" assortment that appears to have popped up...
" Check this out, I was totally confused when I thought I found 2 different #9s of the Greatest Battle figures (wookie warrior and grievous). Then I realized that the Grievous I found was marked Heros and Villians so therefore it is a variant.. I thought id let you know. "
For the record, General Grievous #9 in the Heroes and Villians assortment is SUPPOSED to be a repack of
ROTS Grievous #36. The one above looks like a repack of the
ROTS Grievous #9.

Yak reader "Obi-Wandering" sends in this report of a fantastically cheap find...
" My son and I were out shopping and scored beaucoups de SW bargains. We also scored the Senate battlepack and "Roman Candle" Grievous at the Schenectady NY Target for $8.25 for the pair. THanks for the tip.
The big thrill, though, was at a chain called "Tuesday Morning". They had a couple of the MR mini .45 scale lightsabers. THey were only $9.99. We picked up the Anakin model which I scanned for you here. They also had a Luke Skywalker, but the box was pretty beat up on that one. Not sure how big the Tuesday Morning chain is nationwide, but I know they are all around the Northeast. Hope other Yakfacers have the same luck!

For those who dont know, Tuesday Morning is a chain of deep-discount clearance stores. We've received reports before of super cheap SW stuff being found there. Hit the link to see if you have one near you.

Yak Reader Nate writes in reporting he also found the Skirmish in the Senate set for $4.98 in Madison WI, as well as the exclusive General Grievous for $3.24.
Yak Reader Dennis reports finding the same price at two Targets in the Dallas area on the Skirmish in the Senate set, as well as all the VSTC figures for just $2.88 each in abundance (especially Hans and Greedos).

Yours truly just picked up a Target exclusive Skirmish In The Senate Battle Pack for the low, low Senate smashing price of $4.98!! Not bad for two more Shocktroopers and another Senate Pod......oh......and another Emperor and Yoda too.
This was at the Sterling Heights, MI Target.
